Ray Parlour gives 'regressive' Leeds United relegation verdict amid Javi Gracia impact question

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour says he's unsure whether Leeds United's new manager Javi Gracia can have the 'impact' necessary to save them from relegation.

The Whites dropped into the relegation zone for the first time this season after their 1-0 defeat to Everton two weeks ago but have since climbed back out thanks to their win over Southampton last weekend in the Spaniard's first match in charge.

But with all three sides still in the relegation fight, amongst others like Bournemouth and West Ham, Parlour believes it'll be a toss-up between the Whites and the Toffees as to who is sent into the Championship by the end of the season.

"I can't see Bournemouth staying up if I'm being honest," Parlour admitted to AceOdds. "Southampton, I still think they will go down. It was a brilliant result against Chelsea, but I still think they will go down.

"The third place is so difficult to call... I mean, with Everton, Sean Dyche has really turned it around. Home form is going to be important for Everton.

"They've had two really good wins at home since he arrived. They were big, big wins for Sean. I can see Everton getting out of it. Sean Dyche will bring enough to the team to get out of it.

"Leeds United is going to be interesting. People say well with their new manager that they've gone regressive. But he kept Watford up and got to the cup final. So let's see what impact he can bring in."
