Karsen Liotta has opened up on social media for the first since her father Ray Liotta 's sudden death last month, aged 67.
The Goodfellas star passed away in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting for the upcoming movie, Dangerous Waters.
The actor had been pictured in good spirits just days before his death as he held hands with fiancée Jacy Nittolo, 46, to whom he had been engaged to for two years.
In an emotional post on Instagram, Karsen shared a photo of the star holding her as a child, along with the caption: "Those who knew him, loved him. You are the best Dad anyone could ask for. I love you. Thank you for everything."
Within 24 hours more the post had been liked by more than five thousand users and received 650 replies from fans and celebrities alike.
Amongst the well-wishers, one fan wrote: "Sweet Karsen! I am terribly sorry for your loss. What an amazing human your Dad was. I will cherish those memories from first meeting him and you. Sending you love always."
Another added: "A legendary spirit who I grew up watching. Real authentic eyes that made you feel his passion on the screen. Wish I could have met him personally. I will miss him for the rest of my life. May you continue to find peace and healing."
Meredith Marks, meanwhile, of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fame, responded: "Sending love and positivity."
And Disney's Descendants actress Sarah Jeffery simply said: "I love you both."
Daughter Karsen, 23, continued the tribute by adding several further photos to her story of her favourite memories with her father.
Liotta's fiancée, Jacy Nittolo penned a heartbreaking tribute of her own, meanwhile, 48 hours after his passing.
"My life these past couple of years have been nothing but truly magical," she wrote.
"Ray and I share a deep love that I will cherish in my heart forever. We laughed daily and we were inseparable.
"The chemistry was wild in the best way. He was everything in the world to me and we couldn’t get enough of each other. The kind of real love that one dreams of.
"He was the most beautiful person inside and out that I’ve ever known…and even that is an understatement."
The Dominican funeral home, meanwhile, where Liotta's body has been held is said to have made arrangements to transport him back to LA via a private plane at his family's request.
