The Baltimore Ravens have seen wide receiver Zay Flowers take the league by storm over the course of the past few months. The team invested the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft into the electric wideout, and so far the returns are as positive as they can be considering he hasn’t taken a professional snap to this point.
On Wednesday, quarterback Lamar Jackson proudly dubbed Flowers’ new nickname as “Joystick”. Flowers was asked about Jackson’s declaration, saying that he liked it and revealing that his brother already had the nickname, so he’ll have to now take it over.
“Yes, I like it. It’s the nickname that ran in my family. My brother had the nickname ‘Joystick.’ So, I guess I get to take it over now.”
