The Baltimore Ravens are known as one of the best organizations in the NFL, both on and off the field. They’re able to put together a competitive football product almost every season but also do a phenomenal job of giving back to the community and connecting with fans.
Not only does the franchise excel off the field, but the players within the organization do as well. Baltimore wide receiver Zay Flowers talked about his connection to fans, discussing how when he was a kid, he tried to take a picture with someone, and they said no, which was a moment that stuck with him.
“Because when I was a kid before I tried to take a picture with somebody. [I’m not] going to mention [any] names, but they told me no. I [didn’t] really like it as a kid, because that was my first time meeting a professional player. Any chance I get with the kids, I try to do as much as I can.”
Flowers also mentioned how he tries to do as much as he can for the kids and shows through his words and actions that he cares about his interactions with fans. Community is a big part of Flowers’ life, and he’s already impacted the lives of many different people.
