The Baltimore Ravens will rely heavily on wide receiver Rashod Bateman during the 2024 season. The fourth-year wideout will take over as the team’s unquestioned No. 2 receiver, which means Baltimore is putting immense trust in him to produce at a high level.
One reason Bateman’s career has gotten off to a slow start so far has been his health. When talking to the media, the former Minnesota star revealed that his foot is healed and not a problem anymore, and more importantly, he is healthy in a way he called “100%.”
“The foot is healed, and it’s not a problem anymore – thank God. Obviously, this year is different than last year. I’m healthy, 100%, and that’s all I can say about it. I don’t really want to keep talking about my injuries. It’s past me. That’s the past now, so we’re onto bigger and better things now.”
Bateman is a three-level receiver who can make an impact in many ways. However, to maximize his potential, he has to stay on the field and establish a connection with quarterback Lamar Jackson, something that will hopefully come to fruition in 2024.
