The Baltimore Ravens will need wide receiver Rashod Bateman to step up massively in 2024. Although his career has gotten off to a slow start, he has the potential to turn it around, assuming he can stay healthy and on the field.
When speaking to the media, Bateman spoke to how comfortable he feels as training camp continues. He admitted it’s the most relaxed he’s felt with the team with players returning, and it’s a blessing to be on the field with his teammates.
“I would definitely say this is the most comfortable I’ve been with the team and the players coming back. We all are pretty close. We stay in touch. [We’re a] tight-knit group. We come out here and work. We help each other, and we try to give each other the best advice, so it’s definitely a blessing to come out here and play with guys that want to get better every day.”
The Ravens are trying to avoid another disappointing playoff exit like they had against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game last year. Bateman, Baltimore’s No. 2 wideout this year, will be critical to taking Baltimore to the next level if he can capitalize on his opportunities.
