The Baltimore Ravens drafted Daelin Hays in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL draft. The outside linebacker out of Notre Dame was hoping to make an impact on the Ravens’ roster, but injuries plagued his first few years in the league in a big way, as he only played in one game with the team.
Per the NFL’s transaction wire, Hayes was waived by Baltimore on Monday. He had high expectations placed on him after the draft, but never really had a chance realize it with how injuries impacted his career in such a major way.
