Ravens Vs. Browns Odds: 20-Point Spread Is One Of Biggest Ever

The Baltimore Ravens are a 20-point favorite over the Cleveland Browns in their Week 18 matchup. Is that the biggest spread in NFL history?

Ravens 20-Point Favorite Over Browns

Per ESPN Bet, the Ravens are favored by 20 points, the largest spread of the season.

That’s the largest spread in the NFL since 2021. The Arizona Cardinals were 20.5-point favorites over the Houston Texans entering their Week 7 matchup. The Cardinals covered the spread in a 31-5 victory.

While the 20-point spread is high, it is not the largest in NFL history.

In 2013, the Denver Broncos were 28-point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars. That year, Peyton Manning set NFL records in passing yards (5,477), passing yards per game (342.3), and touchdown passes (55).

The Broncos did not cover the spread in their 35-19 victory.

Baltimore Ravens Playoff Scenarios

When the Ravens (11-5) host the Browns (3-13) on Saturday, Baltimore will be playing their starters because there are still playoff implications to be settled.

The Ravens and Steelers (10-6) have both clinched playoff spots. However, the Ravens hold a one-game lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6) in the AFC North.

If the Ravens defeat the Browns, Baltimore will clinch the No. 3 seed and a home game during Wild Card Weekend. If Baltimore loses, they can still win the AFC North if the Steelers lose to the Bengals.

The Ravens and Steelers could meet in the postseason. If Baltimore wins, Pittsburgh loses, and Los Angeles (10-6) wins, the Ravens would host the Steelers on Wild Card Weekend.
