Ravens vs. Bengals prediction: Can Baltimore extend its winning streak against AFC North foe?

The Ravens (2-2) are on a two-game winning streak and will look to continue imposing their will on the opposition when they face the Cincinnati Bengals at Paycor Stadium in the AFC North opener for John Harbaugh’s clubs.

Baltimore has won three of their past four matchups against Cincinnati, logging at least 300 yards of offense in the past 13 games (since 2017) against the divisional foe.

The Bengals are 1-3, coming off their first win of the season. It’s not a must-win for Cincinnati, but falling to 1-4 would all but wreck their season. Even with the slow start, Joe Burrow is one of five NFL quarterbacks with a completion percentage of 70 percent or better this season, and he’ll face a Baltimore defense that’s ranked 29th against the pass (257.5 YPG) but has only surrendered four passing touchdowns on the year.

The Ravens lead the NFL in yards per play, averaging 6.8 yards per snap, 0.4 more yards than the next-best team. They have also covered the spread against the Bengals in four of the last five meetings between these two teams.

They’ll face a Bengals defense that’s ranked 25th against the run.

Baltimore has the personnel to keep the explosive Cincinnati offense off the field, and it offers another big game opportunity for running back Derrick Henry (9,982 rushing yards), who is 18 rushing yards shy of becoming the 32nd player in NFL history with at least 10,000 in a career. By reaching the mark in 2024, Henry would become the 21st player ever to do so within the first nine seasons of his career.

The Ravens are finding their groove and have dominated the Bengals lately. That narrative shouldn’t change in a 27-21 Baltimore win on the road.
