The Baltimore Ravens have been able to build depth throughout the majority of their roster over the 2022 offseason. Whether it be by way of re-signing players, free agent additions, or even draft picks, Baltimore has done a good job at making sure that they have plenty of talent in many different areas.
One part of the team where the Ravens could potentially look to add even more depth is at pass rusher. On Thursday, Baltimore brought in free agent defensive end/outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul for a visit, and Josina Anderson of USA Today reported that the visit ‘went well’.
My understanding is the #Ravens visit with Jason Pierre-Paul went well after a long day from his physical to meeting with folks. Pierre-Paul was still meeting as of about less than a couple hours ago, per source. We’ll see if both sides can get something done moving forward.

Pierre-Paul is very accomplished at the NFL level, putting up 91.5 sacks across his 12 NFL seasons. He’s a player that could come in and provide solid production as well as leadership to younger players such as Odafe Oweh, Daelin Hayes and Jaylon Ferguson, and shouldn’t cost too much of Baltimore’s cap space. With uncertainty surrounding when outside linebackers Tyus Bowser and David Ojabo could be ready to come back from their achilles injuries, adding a veteran such as a Pierre-Paul or even bringing back Justin Houston would likely benefit the team in multiple ways.
