Ravens to interview Eagles’ QB Brian Johnson for vacant offensive coordinator job

The Eagles’ two top assistant coaches could be on the move and Jalen Hurts’ most trusted confidant could be leaving as well.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is reporting that the Ravens are requesting permission to interview Philadelphia’s quarterback coach, Brian Johnson for their vacant offensive coordinator job.

Johnson is a Hurts’ family friend, and the former Utah star quarterback has over 13 years of experience as a play-caller and position coach — helping develop two of the NFL’s best quarterbacks: the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts and Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott.

Hurts emerged as an All-Pro and league Most Valuable Player front-runner in his second year working with Johnson, while Prescott, a three-star recruit in high school, earned All-SEC honors at Mississippi State in his final two years.
