The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft following their disappointing Wild Card round exit to the Cincinnati Bengals during the playoffs this past season. There are multiple avenues that the team could decide to go in with the selection, including trading up, down or staying put.
In his latest 2023 NFL mock draft, Keith Sanchez of The Draft Network has Baltimore taking a polarizing talent in Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers. When explaining his choice, Sanchez talked about how Flowers would represent an upgrade at the wide receiver position, especially when slotted in next to fellow wideout Rashod Bateman.
“The Ravens hired Todd Monken as their new OC, which seems like a move to help Lamar Jackson. The next move that they need to make is to add some help at the wide receiver position. If Rashod Bateman can stay healthy, the Ravens have a talented young duo with him and Flowers to give Jackson an upgrade at the WR position.”
