Ravens safety Marcus Williams has high praise for All-Pro Kyle Hamilton

The Baltimore Ravens have one of the best starting safety tandems in the league, Marcus Williams and Kyle Hamilton. The duo complement each other exceptionally well in more ways than one, and their skill sets can benefit the entire defense.

When asked about Hamilton, Williams had nothing but praise for his defensive backfield mate. He shared how the third-year pro has put in countless work hours to get to where he is today while also stating that he’s a confident player who trusts the process and performs because of it.

“Kyle [Hamilton] has always been a good player. He’s worked his butt off day in and day out. I mean, I’ve helped him here and there, but that’s all his doing; that’s his work, his offseason work, his film room work. I don’t take credit for any of the stuff that he’s done. He’s a great player, and he’s put in the time and the effort to go out there and make those plays. He’s confident, and you see that by his play. So, [with] him just putting that time in and respecting the process, he comes out there, and he performs.”

Hamilton has quickly become one of the best safeties in the NFL due to his unique blend of size and speed. He can play anywhere on the field, giving Baltimore a much-needed Swiss Army knife in what is turning into an era of positionless defense.
