When the Baltimore Ravens drafted safety Kyle Hamilton in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft, they knew they were getting a player with a massive amount of potential. He struggled a bit early on in the 2022 season, but his play at the end of the year showed the front office and fans what a great player he can be.
Entering his second NFL season, Hamilton is poised to take on a bigger and even somewhat unique role. The former Notre Dame star spoke after a session of Baltimore’s voluntary organized team activities, and was asked about what he wants to focus on in his sophomore year.

“It gives me more confidence. I know what to expect now on a day-to-day basis, and [there are] less room for excuses – stuff like that. [There’s] a little more focus, in a sense of trying to lead, just by doing the right thing every day [and] being in the right spots in practice. I’m still messing up, but I try to minimize those mistakes and make new mistakes every day, and [I’m] just getting more experience.”
