Ravens S Chuck Clark posts cryptic message on Twitter

The Baltimore Ravens have addressed their safety position in a big way during the 2022 offseason. They signed Marcus Williams in free agency to a five-year, $70 million contract, and followed that up by drafting Kyle Hamilton with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft.

Due to the additions, there have been some rumblings as to if Baltimore could move on from veteran Chuck Clark. On Friday night, Clark posted a cryptic message on Twitter that could potentially be related to his current situation with the Ravens.

It’s entirely possible that Clark’s tweet has nothing to do with Baltimore and is about something completely unrelated to football. However, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic said the safety is apparently unhappy with how a few things have played out this offseason, potentially relating to his contract.

The potential of having three safety looks with Clark, Williams and Hamilton is extremely intriguing, especially for a defense that loves to play positionless football and line players up in multiple different spots. However, if Clark does indeed want out it’s likely best that both parties move on.
