The Baltimore Ravens drafted cornerback Nate Wiggins with the 30th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. The former Clemson star has incredible speed to his game, running a sub-4.3 40-yard dash and displaying one-of-a-kind recovery speed when trailing receivers.
Wiggins is currently undergoing his first professional training camp and getting acclimated with his new teammates. He spoke to the media following one of his practices and revealed a new nickname that fellow cornerback Marlon Humphrey gave him.

“Nasty Nate” could catch on, but Wiggins implores it’s just a temporary nickname for now. He will be a significant factor in what the Ravens want to do in their secondary this season, splitting time with Humphrey and Brandon Stephens in tandem on a defense that is looking to replicate their success from the 2023 season, with new pieces like Wiggins now involved as well.
