The Baltimore Ravens have many different players who are vying for spots on the team’s final 53-man roster. One of the positions that seemingly has a spot available is at wide receiver, and there are plenty of young players trying to make a name for themselves.
One of those wideouts has been Jaylon Moore, who has been around the team for a few years now. However, on Tuesday Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reported that Baltimore began their cutdown to 80 players, with Moore being the first of the cuts.
The Ravens are starting to make moves to get down to 80. They've cut WR Jaylon Moore, which is a bit surprising because he was viewed as one of the main competitors for the 5th WR role. But Moore was quiet in first 2 preseason games.

Moore signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of UT Martin, and spent both 2020 and 2021 on Baltimore’s practice squad. He stood out early in 2022 training camp, but didn’t produce much during the team’s two preseason games.
