The Baltimore Ravens have fans all over the world, whether it be from near or far away. Their games are seen and heard by many in plenty of different areas, whether it be on TV, through radio or another form of media consumption.
On Wednesday, Baltimore announced that they have signed a four-year radio broadcast deal with the Washington, D.C. based ESPN 630 AM. From 2022 until 2025, all Ravens preseason, regular season, Wild Card, and Divisional Round games will be aired on the station, as well as the simulcasts for WBAL 1090 AM/98 Rock’s pre-game show “Countdown to Kickoff” and post-game “Locker Room Show”. There will also be a specific Ravens segment every week. Baltimore’s chief sales officer Kevin Rochlitz expressed his excitement about the agreement.
“We are thrilled to partner with ESPN 630 AM and to further distribute the Ravens’ award-winning gameday radio experience..The Ravens and ESPN 630 AM have a shared commitment to providing our audiences with first-class radio content on gameday and beyond. This agreement will enhance and expand our connection to the passionate Ravens fans of the Washington, D.C. metro area.”
ESPN 630 Program Director Bill Hess also shared a message.
“We’re thrilled to expand the reach of Ravens Nation heading into another exciting season.”
Ravens announce that they’ve signed a 4-yr radio broadcast rights agreement with Washington DC-based ESPN 630 AM. They’ll broadcast preseason and regular season Ravens games, along with first two rounds of playoffs if applicable.
