Ravens RB Justice Hill set to return for season finale against Browns

The Baltimore Ravens are getting a key player back this week for their regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns as head coach John Harbaugh announced that running back Justice Hill is expected to play.

Justice is just sick, so he’ll play,Harbaugh said.

Hill exited the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a concussion in Week 16 following a scary collision at the end of a 25-yard run. The veteran running back missed the following week’s game against the Houston Texans on Christmas Day.

Hill has been an underrated piece of the Ravens’ juggernaut offensive attack this season, specifically as a pass blocker and receiver out of the backfield. Hill is currently fifth on the team in receiving yards with 383 on 42 catches and three touchdown receptions. While the rushing attack goes through running back Derrick Henry and quarterback Lamar Jackson, for the most part, Hill still has a respectable 4.8 yards per carry with 228 rushing yards and one touchdown on 47 carries.

After the season’s first two games, the Ravens and Hill reached an agreement on a two-year contract extension worth $6 million. In addition to his many contributions to Baltimore’s offense, Hill also provides value on special teams.

Hill could see a larger workload this week if the Ravens can pull away on the scoreboard and begin resting starters, particularly Henry, against the Browns.
