The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson were able to agree on a long-term extension after over a year of extension talks, keeping the quarterback in the Charm City for the next five seasons. He will continue to be a leader in Baltimore both on and off the field, and re-shared his love for the city on Saturday at the team’s stadium practice.
When talking to Rocco DiSangro of FOX Baltimore, following Saturday’s practice, Jackson made it clear that he wants to accomplish many things as a member of the Ravens, including having his name and jersey hung up in the rafters, as well as be a Super Bowl winner for the city of Baltimore.
Lamar Jackson never wanted to go anywhere else, and his appreciation for the city shows.
"I want to have my name hung up there in the rafters, have my jersey hung up there in the rafters, retire a hall of famer, Super Bowl winner here, I just love it."@Lj_era8 #RavensFlock pic.twitter.com/qeQKsCqS9O
