The Baltimore Ravens made massive mistakes over the course of their 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Baltimore went away from their identity of running the football early in the game, and made themselves one dimensional while failing to establish an offensive rhythm all game.
“I [saw] Tampa 2. I [saw] Tampa 2, and I [saw] both of them trailing [Isaiah Likely], and I didn’t want to throw it all out of the end zone. I just tried to let him turn around and make a play. I thought it was going to be a [pass interference], but it is what it is. The safety made a great play and made an interception.”
In speaking after the contest, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson went in depth on his key late-game interception in the end zone on a pass that was intended for tight end Isaiah Likely. Jackson threw the ball into triple coverage, and said that he thought the play was going to be pass interference the way that Likely was hit before the ball arrived.
