The Baltimore Ravens selected offensive tackle Daniel Faalele with the No. 110 overall selection in the 2022 NFL draft. He was a popular selection in mock drafts to Baltimore at No. 45, so he represented an immense value pick for Ravens’ general manager Eric DeCosta and company.
During Baltimore’s 2022 rookie minicamp, Faalele answered a multitude of questions from the media. When was asked about what he feels like his biggest adjustment will be, he talked about learning new plays and getting them down, but expressed how comfortable he is with his new coaches in offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris and assistent offensive line coach Mike Devlin.
“I feel like the biggest adjustment for me is going to be just learning the new plays and getting that down. It’s been a pretty smooth process with this short minicamp. Just getting the full playbook and learning that and taking that in I feel like is going to be the biggest challenge. But I feel comfortable with ‘Coach D’ [offensive line coach Joe D’Alessandris] and [assistant offensive line coach] Coach [Mike] Devlin that they’re great teachers. So, I’m comfortable with them.”
