Ravens OLB Odafe Oweh provides update on recovery from offseason surgery

The Baltimore Ravens had many different injuries last season that ended up having a major impact on the team’s chances of reaching the postseason. One of the players who got injured was outside linebacker Odafe Oweh, who subsequently missed the final two games in what was classified as a foot injury. However, apparently suffered a shoulder injury that required offseason surgery.

Following the second day of Baltimore’s organized team activities, Oweh spoke with the media. He was asked how he felt physically after getting offseason shoulder surgery, and the outside linebacker provided a positive update following the operation.

“Yes, honestly, I had surgery the end of January. So, [I’m] a few months out. But I feel good, I feel good. I’m just trying to strengthen it, take it day-by-day, and I’m going to be out there soon.”

Oweh’s recovery was expected to be going well after Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said in March that the rookie was doing great and expected to be back in time for training camp. One of the many up-and-coming players on the team, the second-year player could be poised for another great season.
