Ravens’ offensive line is a major X-factor as they look to compete for Super Bowl

The Baltimore Ravens will hope their offensive line can gel quickly during the 2024 season. The team lost three starters at the position during 2024 free agency and will rely on plenty of young players to pick up the slack.

When looking at every AFC team’s biggest question heading into training camp, Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports asked if the team’s offensive line can get the job done. He talks about how the team could focus on shoring the unit up during training camp, but there will be questions with the group for a team with Super Bowl aspirations.

“Baltimore has decent depth (backup Patrick Mekari, for example, has made 36 starts over the past five years while playing several different positions on the line), but the fact that there are questions regarding the offensive line of a team with Super Bowl aspirations is concerning. The Ravens will surely focus on shoring up this unit during camp.”

Players such as Roger Rosengarten, Ben Cleveland, Andrew Vorhees, and others are expected to step up and contribute this season. However, the replacements for the departed veterans will likely be younger players with little to no NFL experience, which is a risk for a contending team.
