The Baltimore Ravens added linebacker Trenton Simpson from Clemson with the 86th overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. He will have the ability to make an instant impact in the Baltimore defense with his versatility, while also playing with multiple big-time defenders.
Simpson was asked about the possibility of fitting in with fellow linebackers Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen, and had plenty to say about his excitement on the matter. He said he’s going to bring in a willingness to learn from the veterans on the roster, where there is plenty of knowledge to go around.

“Oh, man. I’m excited, man. Roquan Smith, Patrick Queen, I watch those guys’ highlights. I love the way they play. They play like me; they play fast, physical football, and they’re hitting anything that’s moving, and that’s my mindset. So, I’m excited to come in the linebacker room and bring my talents; come in there willing to learn from the vets and continue to just have a great career and be a Raven.”
