Ravens’ Justin Madubuike discusses his lofty goals for 2024 season

The Baltimore Ravens are motivated to bounce back during the 2024 season after their 2023 season came crashing down to a halt in the AFC Championship. Multiple players and coaches have discussed the emotions of not winning a Super Bowl last season, and they hope to make good on their goal this time.

While the team has aspirations, each Baltimore player has individual goals they’d like to achieve. While the Ravens defensive lineman didn’t give a specific number when talking about his sack goals for the season, he did mention that it’s “double digits for sure.”

“It might be. It might not be. It’s definitely double digits for sure. I know I’m that type of player. I know I expect highly of myself and I have to hold myself to that standard. Just taking it one day at a time. Staying present and put the work in.”

Madubuike’s breakout in 2023 was a big part of why Baltimore’s defense was so effective last season. He was almost impossible to stop as a pass rusher, wreaking havoc on opposing offensive lines, which he hopes to continue this season in 2024.
