The Baltimore Ravens drafted linebacker Trenton Simpson with the 86th pick of the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. With that pick, fans were curious as to why when the team already has linebackers Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen.
General Manager Eric DeCosta continues to not speak on Queen’s fifth-year option decision, which looms. After the pick was made, Queen sent out a tweet that seemed like he was shocked by the news of the linebacker being drafted. Things will now get interesting in Baltimore when it comes to Queen and his future with the team going forward.
