Ravens HC John Harbaugh wants to maximize Kyle Hamilton’s dynamic skillset

The Baltimore Ravens drafted safety Kyle Hamilton in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. He has had an incredible start to his professional career, transforming into one of the game’s most impactful players.

Head coach John Harbaugh spoke about Hamilton to the media and clarified that he wants to put the third-year player in a position to maximize his skill set. He said that Hamilton does so many things well, and as such, he wants to use safety in all of those roles, which would naturally give him more responsibilities overall.

“The more you can do, you move guys around. You always try to have players do primarily as much as possible what they do well and minimize the things they don’t do quite as well. So, when you have a player like Kyle Hamilton, who does so many things so well, you want to get him in position to do all of those things.”

Hamilton is a fascinating player in terms of what he can do on the field, mainly because he can do so much at such a high level. He is expected to take another giant leap in Year 3, which is a scary proposition for the rest of the NFL, considering he’s already so good.
