The Baltimore Ravens have seen exponential growth from tight end Isaiah Likely over his first two seasons in the NFL. He has sky-high expectations for season three, and many are excited to see what he can do playing next to fellow tight end Mark Andrews in the Baltimore offense.
Head coach John Harbaugh was asked about Likely and what he can bring to the table this season. He talked about how he’s been happy with the third-year pro, mentioning how he’s locked in and been at the facility every day trying to get better alongside many of his teammates.
“[I’m] happy with Isaiah [Likely], I guess as expected, and [his] work ethic too. [He’s] locked in every single day, [he’s] been here every day. [He’s] another guy that’s been here every day. There’s so many of the guys that have done that, and it shows. He’s talented. He’s going to be a big part of what we do.”
Likely has stepped up for Andrews in the last two seasons after the veteran went down with an injury. Using both players effectively simultaneously should give opposing defenses fits, but the team must find ways to get them on the field together first.
