When the Baltimore Ravens signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin on Wednesday, it seemed like the odds to bring back cornerback Marcus Peters might have dropped. The secondary has a plethora of players in it, and will be a key area of the defense that will need to have success if the team wants to make a deep playoff run.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was asked if the signing of Ya-Sin closes the door on other significant additions to the team, to which he said it doesn’t. He mentioned Peters by name, saying that “you don’t close the door on good players and good people”.
“Good question. I would say no. I don’t think you can ever really close the door on any personnel move. Whoever it might be, you can probably ask me about Marcus [Peters] and whatever other corners are out there. I would say you don’t close the door on good players and good people. We’ll see how it goes.”
