The Baltimore Ravens have been traveling around the globe over the course of the 2023 NFL season. There has been a lot that the team has needed to overcome during the year, and a tough travel schedule has been one of them.
Despite the long road trips and lengthy flights, Baltimore has a 9-3 record on the 2023 season and currently own the top seed in the AFC. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh talked about his team overcoming the many miles traveled this year, saying he’s proud of his players for all they’ve been through and talked about how the bye will benefit his team in order to get rest all around.
“As I told the guys last night in the locker room, I’m really proud of them. I think we all are, because they play with a high level of energy. It took that kind of energy to win. That’s a team [the Los Angeles Chargers] that is actually a very good football team, [a] very talented team, a desperate team, had to have that win at home. We just played at a high level. Our guys were playing hard. It was a very physical game, and to do that, like you said, through the course of this season with all the travel and all the tough games we’ve had. I think it’s pretty remarkable. I’m really proud of the guys. This is a beneficial time. We’re going to try and make the most of it and then be ready to roll for what’s going to be the toughest schedule in football for the next five weeks.”
