The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson agreed to a five-year deal for him to remain in Baltimore through 2027. It’s been a long offseason for the organization and Jackson, which even included a trade request from the star quarterback.
The official Twitter account of the Ravens posted a video of general manager Eric DeCosta speaking to the fans after the Jackson agreement. He expressed his excitement that the quarterback is staying in town, while also showing a great deal of relief.

I don’t recall this happening in the past, especially after former Raven quarterback Joe Flacco signed his deal. This must’ve been different circumstance for Eric DeCosta to post a video like this.
