Ravens DL Calais Campbell advocates against slit film turf on NFL fields

The Baltimore Ravens acquired defensive lineman Calais Campbell during the 2020 offseason from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a fifth-round selection. The move was a shrewd on by Baltimore general manager Eric DeCosta, and Campbell has made his impact felt both on and off of the field.

Over the weekend, Campbell took to Twitter to make his voice heard on a very important issue across the NFL in the playing surface of fields across the league. Campbell advocated against slit film turf, laying out numerous facts to support his view on what he (and many others) believe is dangerous.
