The Baltimore Ravens have had a need to add talent to their secondary this offseason, specifically at the cornerback position. Free agent cornerback Marcus Peters is still available, but the team decided to get a little younger first despite it not being out of the question that Peters could come back.
Baltimore signed cornerback Rock Ya-Sin from the Las Vegas Raiders, and expect him to be a playmaker opposite of Marlon Humphrey. Defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald was asked what makes Ya-Sin a good fit for the Ravens defense, and went into detail on the veteran’s game and skillset.

“Yes, with Rock [Ya-Sin], the best compliment I can give is he’s physical, and he’s such an aggressive player, and just that type of demeanor just fits in great here. And he looks great out there moving around. So, we’re excited to see what he can do and what he can bring to the table for us.”
