The Baltimore Ravens beefed up their offensive line during the 2022 offseason, adding multiple key players including veteran Morgan Moses as well as rookies Tyler Linderbaum and Daniel Faalele. The unit struggled as a whole in 2021, but the additions that the team made should help solidify the group.
Baltimore drafted Linderbaum with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2022 draft, and the center should likely see a major role right away. When speaking to the media on Thursday, the former Iowa star was asked about a good piece of advice he’s received. He revealed what veteran guard Kevin Zeitler told him about the Ravens’ organization during OTAs, praising the organization in a very big way.
“Yes, that’s a tough question. I think something [Kevin] Zeitler said over OTAs [organized team activities]; how he’s been – obviously – to a lot of places, [and] he said the grass isn’t greener anywhere else. We’re at a great organization, [with] great coaches, great players, and it doesn’t get much better than here in Baltimore.”
The Baltimore franchise is one that has a good reputation around the league, and is regarded as first-class by many. Zeitler spent time with three NFL franchises before signing with the Ravens during 2021 free agency, and his comments echo those of so many other veteran players. Linderbaum was drafted into a good situation, both from a role and organizational perspective.
