Raven Symoné marries girlfriend Miranda Pearman-Maday in a small ceremony

Former Disney star Raven Symoné revealed on Instagram that she married her now-wife Miranda Pearman-Maday over the weekend in a small ceremony.

The actress posted a beautiful photo of her with Miranda on her Instagram on Thursday afternoon with the caption "I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home. I love you Mrs. Pearman-Maday!"

A follow-up post thanked those close to the couple who were not able to attend the nuptials for understanding why the wedding was so small. Raven posted a photo of what looks like her home with the caption “Thank you to all those who helped and for those who understand why it was small during this time.”

The couple has decided to combine their last names as Miranda’s maiden name was Maday and Raven’s legal last name is Pearman.

Raven teased her marriage announcement with another Instagram post of a photo of a glass of champagne captioned with "So something happened this week, that has changed my life FOR THE BETTER!"

The couple shared multiple photos of the event on their Instagram, showing that Miranda wore a white suit and a veil while Raven wore a black suit and topped off her look with long, rainbow dip-dyed braids.

The Cheetah Girls star came out publicly in 2016 after being relatively quiet about her personal life for most of her career. She's been acting since was 3, when she first appeared on The Cosby Show. She went on to star in Disney's That's So Raven and she appeared on the talk show The View.
