Derby County's Ravel Morrison has appeared to question why he was sent off against Nottingham Forest but Reds forward Lewis Grabban escaped similar punishment.
Morrison was instantly dismissed deep into stoppage time for a tackle on winger Philip Zinckernagel as the Rams slipped to a 2-1 defeat.
Morrison now faces a three-match ban as a result although Derby fans were left raging at Grabban's challenge on Liam Thompson.
Morrison has now spoken out on Instagram with pictures of both challenges.
On a picture of Grabban's challenge, Morrison wrote "no red" and under a picture of his own tackle he wrote "red" that was accompanied by an inquisitive emoji.
Derby boss Wayne Rooney was asked about the incident after the game and said: "I have not seen it back, and I might be proven wrong, I don't think it was a red card," Rooney said.
"I thought the referee, and I spoke to him at the end, calmly, I thought the game management from the referee was not good.
"I think he allowed them [Forest] to take too long on the free kicks they were getting towards the end and ultimately it killed the game off."
Grabban had given Forest the lead in the second half and that was doubled by an excellent strike from midfielder Brennan Johnson. Tom Lawrence scored from the penalty spot with two minutes remaining.
Reds head coach Steve Cooper said of his first East Midlands derby after the game: "Now I’m standing here, I can say I enjoyed it.
“I liked it when we went 2-0 up and there was the sense that we were in complete control of the game. We were playing well, and I thought we might go score another one.
“It was a bit gutting to go 2-1.
“But I loved it!
“When we went 2-0 up, it was amazing. You had to take a deep breath and go, ‘wow, how good is it to be part of this?’. And then you’ve got to focus back on the game.”
