Rav Wilding has revealed the cancer heartache behind his decision to strip off on TV.
The Crimewatch star joins a host of celebs for ITV’s All New Full Monty tomorrow night.
He told how his terminally ill dad’s battle gave him the courage to go nude.
Rav, 41, said: “He’s got lots of things wrong with him and one is prostate cancer.
“The sad thing is he’s one of many people who has this disease at a stage of his life it can’t be operated on.”
Rav visited his dad Chand, 74, in hospital in between rehearsals for the show.

“He’s out of there now,” said Rav. “I’m not sure if he understands what I’m doing but I know he’d be proud of me.”
While it’s too late for Chand, Rav wants men to check themselves.
“If this was something my dad had discovered when he when was better, doctors could do something. They couldn’t operate as he’s too frail. I want to get that message out that, if caught early, it’s treatable.
“I’ve got checked a few times. Because of my colour I’m going to be more at risk.”
Stars to get naked and reveal VERY personal reasons for baring all on TV
The former soldier and policeman admitted he was nervous exposing himself to millions.
“I thought, ‘Nah, you’re not really going to be naked.’ But it all comes off. In my head I was going, ‘Oh no, I’ve got to throw this hat away in a minute!’”
The ex-Strictly star lost almost two stone while training for the show. “I realised how out of shape I was. I felt disgusting. To be with these boys for seven weeks really helped me.”
