Liverpool will be in the hat for the next round of the Carabao Cup after getting past Derby County.
Caoimhin Kelleher saved three penalties in a shootout to help send the Reds through to the fourth round. Harvey Elliott scored the winning spot-kick, as Liverpool won the shootout 3-2 against the Rams.
The match finished goalless after 90 minutes, with a penalty shootout needed to determine the winner. One highlight from the match was several first-team debuts, including 16-year-old Ben Doak who impressed when coming off the bench.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Darwin Nunez and Elliott all scored their spot-kicks, with Roberto Firmino and Stefan Bajcetic failing to hit the target.

Liverpool’s next match sees them take on Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday. The clash against the Saints will be the Reds’ final fixture before the season breaks for the World Cup.
