Rate the Liverpool players after dramatic late victory over Newcastle United

Liverpool picked up a huge victory after a mostly frustrating game saw Fabio Carvalho score a late winner to defeat Newcastle United.

Newcastle opened the scoring when new signing Alexander Isak get in behind the Liverpool defence to finish expertly past Alisson on his debut.

But Liverpool found an equaliser with Roberto Firmino, given fans around Anfield a boost.

That looked to be not enough though, with the Reds being frustrated with Newcastle's game management in the second-half as they looked to hold out for a point.

But in the 98th minute, the ball fell to Carvalho at the back post and he smashed in from a tough angle hitting the under side of the crossbar.
