Liverpool made it back-to-back Premier League wins on Saturday afternoon by earning a good victory over Southampton at Anfield as they now break for the World Cup.
The Reds took the lead early in the first half thanks to a brilliant Roberto Firmino glancing header as the forward put World Cup disappointment behind him before Che Adams pegged Liverpool back.
With Jurgen Klopp sat in the stands for his one-match touchline ban, Harvey Elliott produced a fantastic pass to assist Darwin Nunez for the first of his two first-half finishes
Liverpool saw the game out in the second half and moved up to sixth in the Premier League table with the 3-1 win.
