Everton managed to put in a brilliant performance as they secured a point against Manchester City.
The Blues drew with the reigning Premier League champions 1-1 at the Etihad Stadium. It sees Frank Lampard ’s side occupy 16th place in the league table and go two points clear of the relegation zone heading into the New Year.
The home side took the lead at the Etihad thanks to a first-half goal from Erling Haaland. But Everton responded after the break with a stunning strike from Demarai Gray.

Despite being under increasing pressure from City, Everton managed to hold on to secure a valuable point in their final match of 2022.
