Everton suffered defeat in their Premier League clash against Wolves today as they lost 2-1 at Goodison Park.
The Blues faced Wolves in their first Premier League fixture since the conclusion of the World Cup. It was the first competitive fixture Everton had played since the 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth on November 12.
Frank Lampard’s side took the lead early on in the game, thanks to a header from Yerry Mina. However, the visitors soon equalised at Goodison Park with a goal from Daniel Podence, before substitute Rayan Ait-Nouri scored the winner in the closing moments.
