First goals for the club from Conor Coady and Dwight McNeil earned Everton their first away win of the Premier League season on Saturday.
Joe Aribo put Southampton in front in the 49th minute but within five minutes Frank Lampard's spirited side had turned the game on its head with Coady's and McNeil's quickfire strikes ultimately earning a hard-fought 2-1 triumph at St Mary's.
The victory came on the back of the 1-0 home win over West Ham United before the international break. And that six-point haul means Everton are now 11th in the standings going into next weekend's home clash with Manchester United.
