Rashod Bateman is the one under-the-radar player who could be an All-Pro or Pro Bowler in 2024

Rashod Bateman is healthy and, after signing a contract extension, he’s had an entire off-season and summer to perfect his craft and take his game to another level.

Bateman caught 32 passes for 367 yards and one touchdown, playing in 16 games and starting 12 contests.

The Raven’s former first-round pick will see even more snaps and targets after Odell Beckham’s departure. If Bateman’s off-season workouts are any indication, he will quietly be the one under-the-radar player in the AFC who could become a first-time All-Pro or Pro Bowler.

In the video from Ravens Realm via Bateman’s Instagram, the fourth-year wide receiver looks primed for an explosive season in Todd Monken’s offense.

The Ravens signed Rashod Bateman to a three-year contract extension eight days before the deadline for exercising his 5th-year option.

A 2021 first-round pick, Bateman missed most of his second season after having foot surgery. He was still dealing with the effects last season after finishing with 56 targets, the fourth-most on the team behind Zay Flowers, Odell Beckham Jr., and Mark Andrews.

Bateman will get Odell Beckham’s targets and them some after being among the best in the NFL at separating from opposing defenders.

Over his first three seasons, Bateman has logged 93 catches for 1,167 yards and four touchdowns, but 2023 was his first healthy season.
