A RARE £2 coin celebrating the Commonwealth Games held in a Scottish city is being sold on eBay for a staggering £5000.
The coin is listed on the popular online marketplace for more than 2500 times its face value and features a thistle and a saltire on one side.
With Queen Elizabeth on the back, the coin dates back to 1986.
According to the seller, the item was minted in celebration of the Commonwealth Games which were held in Edinburgh in 1986.
Scotland, being the host nation, managed an impressive 33-medal haul at the sporting event finishing sixth overall.
