UK rapper slowthai held aloft a 'severed head' of Prime Minister Boris Johnson during a performance at the Mercury Music Prize ceremony.
The 24-year-old, real name Tyron Kaymone Frampton, shouted "f*** Boris" before his set.
The ceremony is being held at the Eventim Apollo in West London.
Stripping down the the waist, he said: "F Boris Johnson. F*** everything", and received rapturous applause from the audience.
Awards host Lauren Laverne said afterwards: "slowthai, with his own views there."

Not everyone was impressed, however.
One viewer posted on Twitter : "This is really dumb, embarrassing and dangerous."
Slowthai was nominated for his album Nothing Great About Britain, which casts a critical eye over life in the modern UK.
He is one of 12 acts whose work has been shortlisted for the 2019 Mercury Prize.
Among the judges is Stormzy, who raised his own profile by criticising then prime minister Theresa May during his performance at the Brit Awards in 2018.
