UK rapper Plan B looks like a completely different person over 11 years on from his smash hit album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks.
The 38-year-old music star - whose real name is Ben Drew - has undergone a drastic transformation after shedding an impressive amount of weight and changing up his hair style.
Despite being one of the biggest names in the music industry back at the start of the 2010's, the rapper decided to take a break from making music after the release of Ill Manors in 2012.
Ben admitted that after he released the tracks, he felt alienated' and instead of ploughing away in the recording studio, he withdrew from the music scene to spend more time with his family.
Speaking about his feelings at the time, Ben said: "I felt spiritually lost at the end of Ill Manors.
"I hadn't seen my family, really, since 2009. Certain friendships were just completely dissolving.
"I'd always felt like I was fighting to be taken seriously, fighting for recognition, and suddenly I had it all, and I thought, 'S***, I've got nothing to fight for.'"
And while he was out of the limelight, Plan B's appearance changed drastically.
The musician has undergone an impressive weight loss journey since his debut album won him a plethora of accolades when it was released just over a decade ago.
While Ben's weight has fluctuated over the years, he currently appears to be leaner than ever before.
It comes after he previously hit out at his appearance during the height of his music career, admitting that he feels as though he 'looked ill' when his music was continuously at the top of the charts.
In a 2017 interview with the Guardian, Plan B said: "You see pictures of me at the Ivor Novello awards, I mean, f***ing hell, I looked ill.
"I was so overweight, and to deal with the workload, I was getting through a bottle of JD a night.
"Then you fancy a bag of crisps, or a bit of ice cream – and it wasn’t a problem before, but it is now, because of all the calories you’re putting in yourself with the drink.”
The UK rapper previously opened up about what spurred him on to change his ways and overhaul his rather unhealthy lifestyle.
Ben said that while he was kick-starting his acting career back in 2010, it was Ray Winstone that first inspired him to get into shape after they worked together on The Sweeney.
At the time, he told The Sun: “Ray came into the studio and we were talking about my character and how someone as young as me has got the part.
“We were saying how I've got to be a man in his early thirties, super-smart, excels in exams, brilliant at sports and Ray looked me up and down and goes, 'Are you sure you're going to get yourself in good enough shape?' I thought right then and there, 'I'm going to do it'.
"That's the extra incentive I needed. I thought, ‘I'll f***ing show you, pal’.”
“I'm just eating salad, steaks and fish now. I'm eating a lot of prawns. I love prawns. I've even been eating the prawns that have been in the fridge for a few days, it goes through you quicker, you know. That helps weight loss," he added.
Ben made his long-awaited return to music before the lockdown in 2020.
He has kept a low profile on social media ever since.
