Rapper Juice Wrld's girlfriend 'was pregnant when he died but lost the baby from grief'

Juice Wrld's girlfriend was pregnant at the time of his death, and suffered a miscarriage out of grief.

Ally Lotti penned a series of tweets a year on from the rapper's death at the age of 21.

She told in the since-deleted tweet that she had been pregnant while travelling with him in Japan and Australia, The Sun reports.

But after the shock of his death, Ally suffered a miscarriage.

And Juice Wrld - real name Jarad Higgins - had wanted to be a father.

"It's all he wanted," Ally wrote, "We worked a lot and it took a toll on my body, I was always sick."

Ally has since told she will share no more information on Twitter, but will instead "lay it all out" in a podcast in January.

Juice Wrld died in hospital late last year after falling ill at Chicago's Midway Airport, a week after he turned 21.

The month after his cause of death was reported to have been "an accidental Oxycodone overdose."

TMZ claimed at the time that the Cook County Medical Examiner said that toxic levels of Oxycodone and codeine were found in his system.

He had previously been open about taking highly addictive codeine cough syrup.

His mum, Carmella Wallace, told that her son had "battled with prescription drug dependency."

He was said to have been conscious when rushed to hospital, but died shortly after.

Paramedics were said to have spent 40 minutes trying to stabilise his heartbeat prior to his death.

A posthumous album, Legends Never Die, proved a hit for Juice as it shot to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 Chart.
