A RAPIST who went missing during his trial in Glasgow has been found.
We previously reported that David McCue was found guilty in his absence at the High Court in Glasgow of sexual offences against a woman and younger girl on Friday, March 17.
He then failed to appear for sentencing on Friday, March 31 sparking a major police search.
Officers have confirmed that they have traced him.
The 40-year-old repeatedly raped a woman in the city's Townhead and Barlanark between 2010 and 2018.
This included while she was asleep and unable to consent.
McCue was also convicted of two charges of sexually assaulting a girl between 2012 and 2018.
